From the moment you start as a caseworker you know when you will qualify for a promotion and just how to get there. Civil Service exams are held each step of the way and there are no surprise goals that disqualify you from promotion. As a caseworker, your abilities are rewarded, both on-the-job skills and testing scores are considered for promotion.
Senior Caseworker – Once you have served continuously on a permanent basis for thirty-six (36) months as a Caseworker, you are eligible to test for the position of Senior Caseworker.
Salary Range: $56,783 to $77,801
Casework Supervisor – Once you have served continuously on a permanent basis for twenty-four (24) months as a Senior Caseworker, you are eligible to test for the position of Casework Supervisor.
Salary Range: $65,859 to $90,220
